This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) explains what is and isn’t allowed on
WhatWeShouldSee. It supplements our Terms of Service and
our Privacy Policy — together, they govern your use of the Service.
Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.
Zero tolerance. We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive behavior.
Every report is reviewed. Confirmed violations result in enforcement action.
1. Prohibited Content
You may not post, upload, share, or transmit content that:
- is unlawful, harassing, threatening, hateful, defamatory, obscene, or fraudulent

and to relevant law-enforcement authorities
- incites violence, terrorism, or other criminal activity
- contains nudity, sexual content, or explicit material outside of contexts permitted by the
Service
- contains hate speech or attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion,
disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or other protected characteristics
- contains personally identifying information about other people without their consent
(doxxing)
- impersonates another person, business, or organization
- infringes the intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights of others
- contains spam, phishing attempts, malware, or other malicious code
- solicits or facilitates illegal goods, services, or financial transactions

2. Prohibited Behavior
You may not:
- harass, stalk, bully, or intimidate other users

circumvention

Service

consent
3. Reporting & Enforcement
3.1 How to report
- In-app: tap the “•••” menu on any post,
photo, review, trip, list, comment, or profile to Report the content or
Block the user.
- By email:
moderation@whatweshouldsee.com
3.2 Our response
- Every report is reviewed. Reports are assessed and actioned according to
severity.
- Severity-tiered action.
- Egregious (CSAM, imminent harm, doxxing): immediate removal + account
suspension + report to authorities where applicable.
- Clear violations: content removal + warning. Repeat offenders are suspended
or permanently banned.
- Borderline: warning + content review. The author is notified and may amend.
- Repeat offenders. Accumulated confirmed violations result in escalating
enforcement — warning, temporary suspension, permanent ban.
- No restoration. Removed content is not restored on appeal except in
cases of clear factual error.
3.3 Blocking
If you block a user, you will no longer see their posts, photos, reviews, trips, lists, or
comments in your feeds, search results, or recommendations. The blocked user is not notified
that you have blocked them. You can manage your block list at
Profile menu → Friends → Blocked. The Blocked tab appears once you have
blocked at least one person.
4. Intellectual-Property Complaints
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright or other IP rights, please see
our DMCA Policy for instructions on submitting a takedown notice.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated”
date at the top and, for material changes, notify you via the Service or by email.
